All used cars in Texas are sold "as is." That means that, once you take possession of the vehicle, the car is yours with no implied warranty from the dealer. Dealers cannot be held responsible for manufacturer defects, assembly flaws, or any unforeseen mechanical failures. Used cars are exactly that-'in used condition.' Often, you should expect some minor cosmetic flaws, such as scratches or interior wear.
With this in mind, at Dallas Auto Sales, we do as much as possible to safeguard customers, such as: addressing any service codes/notifications indicated in the dash, checking the vehicle history report for previous service records and recalls, and having our make-ready staff check fluids in all of our new inventory. Additionally, our staff tries to drive all new inventory in order to assess any other problems that the initial safeguards miss! No matter how much we try to do to prevent mechanical problems, it is always best to add an Extended Warranty to your used vehicle to protect you from any unforeseen (and expensive) repairs.
We offer a range of warranties, from economical powertrain warranties (engine, transmission, drive train) to more extensive coverage (bumper-to-bumper). ALL of our vehicles are eligible for some type of extended warranty coverage.
